The first Splash Gala of the season was a success, with 45 personal bests and 8 county qualifying times.  With more ‘Under 13′ swimmers than ever before, and lots of new faces, it took a while to get the swimmer’s enthusiasm up. But eventually, everyone joined in with the cheering.  Well done to James Connolly for knocking the most off of one of his personal bests, he knocked off an amazing 1 minute and 36 seconds!  Also a huge well done to James Lockyer for getting the club record in the 100m Individual Medley, 200m freestyle AND the 100m butterfly, not really surprising though!  And for the girls, Rebecca Cahill managed to earn herself a club record in the 50m backstroke with a brilliant swim.
